Hi, I'm Whitney

I thought I’d spend my life in museums, curating exhibits about art, identity, and humanity.

 

Instead, I was ripping down racetracks in musclecars, surrounded by roaring engines and the smell of burning rubber.

 

Life has a funny way of steering you straight into the action—if you let it.

 

As a UCLA grad  with a Master’s in American Indian Studies from the University of Arizona (I’m a member of the Choctaw Nation), I figured I’d study culture.

 

Turns out, I was a lot better at selling it.

 

In my Indian Law & Policy class, I had a realization:

• I could persuade.

• I could communicate.

• I could make people care.

 

First clue that I wasn’t cut out for a quiet, academic life.

 

I landed a job as managing editor at Hot Rod and Car Craft magazines. Spent years with gearheads and legends, pursuing horsepower, craftsmanship, and speed.

 

By day, I was immersed in high-performance machines. At night, I was becoming one, grinding out pull-ups with Beachbody’s P90X fitness program in my living room.

 

So when I saw that Beachbody was hiring, I went after it.

 

They had big goals, and they weren’t hiring just anyone. After seven interviews with 11 people, they knew I was the right fit. And so did I.

 

For well over a decade, I’ve helped build Beachbody (now BODi) into a billion-dollar wellness brand. I’ve worked across brand strategy, creative direction, editorial, and performance marketing, helping launch some of the most iconic programs in the industry.
